Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons

Sport

If you were a child of the 1960’s you will no doubt remember and have fond memories of the Internationally successful Rock and Pop music group, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.  Originally named The Four Lovers when they made their singing debut in 1960, they became The Four Seasons when Frankie Valli became the bands lead singer. With Tommy DeVito playing lead Guitar, Bob Gaudio on Keyboards and Nick Massi playing Electric and Bass. After a string of different unsuccessful auditions and several name changes the band eventually took the name “The Four Seasons” from a Bowling Alley venue where they had yet another failed audition!

Strangely, very soon after that latest rejection the fortunes of the band changed and they signed a record deal with “Crewe Production” and The Topix Label.  Their song “Bermuda” did not chart but “Sherry” their next production number that was released by Randy Wood collaborating with “Vee-Jay” records and “Crewe” was a smash hit and got to number one in the charts.

Typically; Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, The Four Seasons are more commonly associated with times of the year, Spring is daffodils and new born lambs, Summer, the months for holidays and carefree laughter, Autumn, the Season of colour and leaves falling from the trees and Winter staying at home, warm and cosy next to your Aluminium Radiators and dinking hot chocolate.  Be a smash hit like Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and rise to the top of your family’s charts when you keep them warm this winter.
